Dressing for your portrait session includes preparing your hair,
eyes and skin. The eyes are the center point of interest. Eye shadow
should be applied lightly and with care. Use two coats of mascara
on upper and lower lashes. Although blemishes are removed in your
finished portraits, you will enjoy your previews more if you use
a cover-stick. And that goes for guys, too. A week-old haircut photographs
best, and avoid a new hair style. If you wear glasses, you may want
to ask your optician to lend you a pair of empty frames. Lenses
catch light reflections and distort facial features. Contacts are
not a problem. Braces are not a problem, either - they can be easily
taken off when your portraits are retouched. |
